Guide to Online Music Classes

Online music classes can be a great way to learn and practice music from the comfort of your own home. This blog will help you to understand the specific instructions for getting the most out of your online music class.


Software and Platform:

  1. .All the classes will be taken through Zoom. If you have never used it before, download zoom, create an account and perform a test meeting to ensure that you’re ready to go for your online lesson.

  2. Test your microphone and camera to ensure they work properly for interactions with your instructor.

  3. Familiarize yourself with the online platform or software (Zoom)

  4. Communicate to your instructor if you are not able to hear or any difficulties during the class.




Equipment and Setup:

  1. Be in a quiet place. Make sure that you can hear and be heard by your teacher.

  2. Set up your instrument in a quiet and well-lit area with minimal distractions!

  3. Choose a place where there is nobody in your background.

  4. Keep your device (tablet/laptop/PC/mobile) in a stable place/stand. Don’t move it during the class (please refer the picture below)




Class Schedule:

  1. Be aware of your lesson schedule, including dates and times.

  2. Make sure you're punctual for your lessons.

  3. Join the online session a few minutes early to avoid technical issues or delays.
